DESCRIPTION: Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, MO. "Fashion No. 4" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day Seth Thomas time and strike movement and a R. T Andrews patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case.
CONDITION: The case is in good condition and has been refinished at some point. The center finial is missing its tip. There are several dings along the base of the case. The original painted time dial is in good condition with the exception of some discoloration between 11 and 12. The original painted calendar dial is in good condition with some minor loss in several locations. The hands are all original with the exception of a newer seconds. The door glass and the "Fashion" inscription are original. The movement is signed. The calendar drum papers are original and darkened with age.
